Wake up. Tourism is back.

Room very good and nice balcony overlooking the beach. Quiet but hardly anyone in the hotel.

Facilities not yet opened. Pool a bit tired, sunbeds, gym, table tennis closed. No kettle in room. Beach bar not as good or cheap as the Bamboo bar next to it.

Affordable, humble, and very clean.

The staff was lovely and the property was very clean. The woman working the desk was exceptionally helpful and it is very close to the beach.

To no fault of the hotel, the building is a bit dated and there were tiny bugs in the room. Again the property was clean, I just know for some travelers this wouldn’t be suitable. The facilities are within an older building although you can tell the toilet and sink had been upgraded. I did have some breakage from the tile in my bathtub and insects around the room. Because of covid, this side of the island is post apocalyptic. Everything is bare or closed. The area around the hotel was a bit rundown. But for the price it was a bargain. The hotel doesn’t have an elevator which would be quite the hike if you stayed on the top floor.

The staff was incredibly poor in customer treatment and...

The staff was incredibly poor in customer treatment and English - even the managers, they simply do not care about repeat business or reviews. One of them was plain rude - an overweight girl who handled the front desk on the evening shift. I spoke with the manager and told him that we want to check out early and from there on it was a game of hide and seek with him. Seriously the worst property I have ever stayed in.

The staff was rude and ill-mannered in every way.

The room was lovely and a great size. The location was fantastic it was right on the beach and round the corner from the main shopping/eating area. We had lots of days at the pool and the customer service was brilliant!

Coconut trees surrounded driveway. Danger of being hit when they fall. And 2 fell when I was walking down the drive!!!

It was very close up all the bars and restaurants but also the beach, once you were away from the town it was quite and relaxing

1. Excellent location. From the pool you can view the adjoining sea. Just terrific! 2. Big spacious room 3. Bathtub in the bathroom 4. Friendly staff

1. Staff was friendly but communication was a problem. They don’t really speak much english 2. No hand shower in bathroom which was not the normal norm in Thailand

Location was superb.

Location was superb. Sea view room was very large. Beach bar prices were reasonable.

Room was dark. No enough illumination. Maid never cleans Under the bed. Under the bed was horrible dirty. Shower was not good , very old and shower head was not moveable but fixed. There was not a glass in shower area but there was an old curtain and after shower all bathroom was wet. No toilet sprayer also in toilet.

Great location on amazingingly beautiful beach - great clean pool overlooking the beach - the hotel itself is simple but the location and the pool , beautiful restaurants and bar right at beach are fantastic for a relaxing and fun stay. It‘s very quiet but only a few steps away from the buisy street bar and restaurant life with dayly markets

Misleading.

1. Staff courteous & apologetic. 2. Booking.com agreeing to release agreement due to misleading information & inability to manouvre climb over bath onto slippery surface with 2. Moving into better resort at much better rate.

Check your records. 1 night was 1 too many. Booked top rated most expensive room.One15 watt globe only lighting& a walk away from bed. 1 bedside table but room had rock hard king size bed plus unwanted single bed. Believed we were booking walk in shower. Shower over bath with no handrail to assist stepping over bath height onto slippery floor. We were advised by staff all rooms at top price have shower over bath. Breakfast was off site, a 2 minute walk away. Grass overgrown, hotel sign faded, pool appeared unused.

Perfect location right on the beach with many bars and...

Perfect location right on the beach with many bars and restaraunts to choose from within 5 minute radius. Room was very spacious and clean with great view ( even though we did not pay for sea view) staff in hotel and beach bars were fantastic. Amazing value for money. Cheap and easy to hire a bike through the hotel also.

Pathway to reception from main strip could be lit better of a night but was no issue.

We stayed at Ark Bar at Chaweng,same price, far superior in quality,service,room,location,atmosphere

Hotels.com overcharged us for the quality of the hotel. I rate this hotel at 2 1/2 stars and 1000-1200 bahts per night after staying in 10 hotels in 28 days with no problem and believe a refund due.
